  • We are located in Toronto’s east end, also known as Leslieville.

    We’re open Monday through Thursday for private appointments, studio rental and special events.

  • There is no dedicated parking. However, there is residential street parking available on Logan Ave.

Classes & Memberships

  • That’s wonderful! Our Villij is the perfect place to start. Our movement classes are beginner friendly and designed to support diverse bodies. You can expect to receive guided support as needed from our teachers.

    Soulful Stretch is our slowest paced class with a focus on a few slow movements. While still gentle and relaxing, you can expect to move more in our TrapSoul Yoga class. And Mat Pilates is a vibrant class that will challenge your strength.

    You don’t need to be ‘experienced’ or ‘flexible’ for any of our classes.

  • Yes. We offer private yoga classes. Learn more here.

  • Welcome! Please arrive at least 15 mins prior to your class to get familiar with the space and community.

    We provide you with yoga and pilates equipment you need for your practice (i.e. mats, bolsters, blankets, etc.). Wear clothes that feel comfortable moving in. You may also bring socks to move around the studio. We have a coat ares to store your personal belongings (there are no lockers.)

    We also have filtered water and recommend that you bring a reusable water bottle. And, we’re happy to offer you complimentary tea and snacks.

  • Booking online is recommended to ensure you secure a spot in class, but walk-ins are welcome, provided there are spots available in the class.

  • Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before class to make sure you’re all set. For safety reasons, doors will close 5 minutes after the class starts. If you are running late, please send us an email at info@thevillij.com or in-app message.

  • No. Intro offers, memberships and class packs cannot be placed on hold. If you have additional questions, email us at info@thevillij.com.

  • Yes. See one of our team members to make your purchase. Payment is accepted by credit/debit card only.

  • Yes. You can purchase all services as a gift online or in the studio. For online purchases, select the membership or class pass and choose “Gift this to a friend”.

    To purchase a class for a friend, select the class and enter your friend’s contact details, then add your payment details.

  • Memberships and class packs cannot be shared or transferred to another person.

  • Our class schedules open up for booking every week. You can book classes up to five weeks in advance.

Walking Club

  • The season pass helps us financially compensate the women on our team that offer their time and services to make this walking club possible.

  • No. If you purchased a Villij Walk membership in 2023, you have lifetime access to our walking club and do not have to purchase a new season pass.

  • We acknowledge that many outdoor spaces aren’t suitable for people using mobility-assistive devices, with trails that are either too narrow, too steep, uneven or feature staircase. While our team aims to plan accessible routes, we cannot guarantee that there will not be any barriers.

  • Walks are conducted in groups. Hence, it's important to consider that other members may have allergies or fears of dogs. If you wish to bring your dog, we ask that you participate while maintaining a safe distance from other group members that do not wish to interact with your dog. Service dogs are an exception.

  • We recognize that some walking routes may not be suitable for strollers or young children. Trails may be narrow, steep, uneven, or feature staircases. While our team aims to plan accessible routes, we cannot guarantee that there will not be any barriers. Send us an email at info@thevillij.com with your questions/concerns.

Studio Policies

  • Our waitlist is a great option for a chance to join a sold out class. Once a spot opens up, you will be automatically enrolled on a first come, first served basis, up to 60 minutes before class start time. If you do not wish or intend to take the class, we encourage you to remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid automatic enrolment and a penalty should you no longer be able to make it.

  • If you are unable to make it to a yoga or pilates class, we encourage you to cancel 24 hours in advance to avoid losing your class credit. This will also help to ensure that your spot can be made available to another member. To cancel your booking, please access your account online.

    There are no credits for soundscapes, workshops and other events.

  • All purchases are non-refundable.

Services & Facilities

  • You can check yourself in upon arrival using our studio iPad. A member from our team can also assist you.

  • No, there are no showers. We have a bathroom to change and freshen up as needed.

  • No. Our studio is not wheelchair accessible.

    To enter the studio, there is one step up. Once you’ve entered, there are eight steps down to access the welcome lounge and practice area.

Shipping & Returns

  • We accept all major credit cards and PayPal for online purchases. Studio memberships cannot be purchased using PayPal.

  • At this time, we ship to Canada and the contiguous United States. We look forward to shipping internationally soon.

  • Once your order is packaged and ready to ship, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number.

  • All sales are final.
